I am J.T. Robinson and I drove 22 hours to Utah from the land of cheese and beer, Wisconsin, when I was 17 years to make a college visit. You see, everyone told me to go to college after high school so I figured I would do it at Weber State University nestled in the shadows of Mt. Ogden in the Wasatch Range.A year later I enrolled and moved to Ogden, where I skied five days a week, worked at night, and earned a finance degree.Suffering from college stress I found relief in ripping big mountain lines and hucking myself off of cliffs.I took 6th place at Crested Butte with some large inverted hucks and soon after began receiving help from sponsors.DNA, Bomber, Karhu, Utopia Optics, and Scarpa have all supported my efforts to continue to ski and push my limits.Filming and shooting pictures is what I love most about the job because telemark skiing is an art form to me, and I enjoy trying to capture that art for everyone to appreciate.Shootingwith companies like Tough Guy Productions and Lipstick Films has given me the opportunity to travel all over and experience all kinds of skiing, people and environments
