Welcome to the first RaceStar Yamaha Race Release for the 2007.

The first few months of the year have been a bit hectic finalizing the team program but everything is now in place and we are looking forward to a strong season.

The bike is performing well with its Woesnner 490cc big bore kit and in the next few weeks our new Leo Vince exhaust and FAST ignition system will arrive to finalize the engine package.

The disappointment of the cancellation of the first National in Queenstown due to inclement weather has given us added testing and training time and our results this week-end at the Regional event at the Killarney circuit is proof of this.

Dewald won the first two heats very convincingly and then suffered a rear tyre puncture in the final heat with 6 minutes and a lap to go but managed to hold on to the heat win by riding conservatively and this, together with the strength of the MAXXIS side walls, helped him win the overall result on the day.

He has now won every single heat and overall wins at both Club and Regional level that he has entered far this year.

With one more Regional event to go before our home National on the 29 th April at the Zone 7 circuit he is having the perfect build up to provide the team and our sponsors with a strong   result and, hopefully, the perfect start to the 2007 National season.
